This series of special sealers from Impulse Dynamics are designed for packaging and fabricating applications where access to the sealing jaws must be open and unobstructed. Some typical applications are:
1) Moving the machine into and out of the work area such as DOD/DOE "Bag-Out" operations for the safe removal of hazardous materials.
2) Closing box liners on a roller conveyor.
1) Closing the filling valve of poly lined/Kraft paper bags.
2) Fabricating endless belts, such as humidifier filters, printing belts and similar cylindrically shaped products made from flexible thermoplastic films.
3) Splicing rolls of foam, fabric of film to form continuous webs.

Manually operated machines are used for low volume and occasional use heat-sealing applications. Locking the hand operated toggle clamp in position starts the impulse heat-sealing cycle. A signal light on the machine indicates the end of the sealing cycle signaling the operator that it is safe to open the sealing jaws.
Pneumatically powered machines are most suited for continuous production processes. The operator actuates a switch to close the sealing jaws and start the impulse heat-sealing cycle. The jaws open automatically at the end of the sealing cycle. Once the heat and dwell dials are set for the type of material to be sealed the operator simply loads and unloads the sealing jaws in between cycles.
Production speeds vary according to the type and thickness of material used and the operator's pace.
