Codes seals are often used to convey information about a product and to provide tamper evidence protection. Seal prints containing encoded alphanumeric information can be produced using Vertrod impulse heat sealers. A code seal is accomplished by modifying the surface of the silicone rubber pressure bar. There are two options currently available. The choice between each option depends on whether or not the encoded information is changed frequently.
Option One-Coded Aluminum Tape
* Minimum ribbon seal width is ¼ inch; trim seal width is 3/8 inch.
Option Two-Cast Silicone Rubber
A special mold is used to cast alphanumeric information into the silicone rubber pressure bar surface. The silicone rubber is placed onto the pressure bar mounting bracket. This option is most suitable for applications not requiring frequent changes such as company names or brand identification.
